Her musical career started in 1990 with a rock and roll band named LOCAL-8 en Palma, Mallorca.
She was more inspired by blues years later and became part of groups such as TOO MUCH MORROW, BLUES DEVILS (INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF BLUES REBEL 95, with Otis Rush, Koko Taylor, Albert Hammond and Raimundo Amador) and with different combinations of musicians including several collaborations with VICTOR URIS, with whom she was singing with in Barcelona, Teatre del Mar, Festival SANT SEBASTIA 99, FESTIVAL DE JAZZ DE SA POBLA, also she opened for VAN MORRISON at the Auditorium in Palma.
Thanks to pianist Richard Vinton and vocalist Lynn Gaydosh, Jazz became the new playground for her which she is still experimenting.
She was invited to participate in the FESTIVAL DE JAZZ DE CALA RATJADA 97,98 and 2000, FEST.DE JAZZ DE MANACOR, 98 & 99 & FESTES DE SANT SEBASTIA 2000.
She usually sings with great musicians such as FRANCO BOMBELLI, JAN KOBRZINOWSKY, GEOFF FROSSEL, MOLLY DUNCAN, SALVADOR FONT, ISRAEL SANDOVAL, SEBASTIA CARDELL.
She also had the chance to perform with JAN VON KLEWITZ & KAI BRÜCKNER. You can also find her Jamming or singing funk in Barcelona or Palma with FUNKY TIME, FLIPOWER, FUNK CITY, and CRISIS JAZZ FUNK.
In Dec 2000 She founded a Gospel Choir with pianist ISIS MONTERO. The group evolved into Soul, Blues, Jazz, or Pop with their own unique style.
From this group CLAVE DE SOUL was born who are now playing around some of the most popular clubs in Mallorca such as Bluesville and Costa Nord, where stars such as Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones regularly enjoyed their sound.
She was contracted to record songs with DANIEL Y LA QUARTET DE BANYO BAND, RIKI LOPEZ, ANTONIA FONT, VICTOR URIS, MUSICA NOSTRA, JAUME SUREDA, GOLGOTHA, also for the soundtrack of the movie 'EL ROBO MAS GRANDE JAMAS CONTADO'.
Carmen is also part of a popular group based in Mallorca called Clave de Soul.
