The Gemini Brothers are Daniel and Jacek Gutszmit and they are identical twin brothers who perform in a hand balancing duo act.
They were born and raised in Poland and it was in their home town of Swidnica where they began to train in handstands and acrobatics. However, they now reside in Melbourne, Australia. During their competitive years in sports acrobatics they achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze placings in European and World Championships. they now have 17 years of experience in sports acrobatics and handstand acrobatics performing.

With their handstand balancing act they have had the opportunity to work in countries through out the world including Canada, Australia, United States of America, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, Netherlands and Spain.
Their longest contract, so far, has been with CIRQUE DU SOLEIL in their production of "Saltimbanco". This was from 1998 until June 2002. Over that time they performed their hand balancing act 10 times per week (for most of that time) plus at moments they were required to perform their handstand act on television and for private promotions in order to promote the show.

As a part of 'Saltimbanco' they participated in many promotions. These have included featuring on major television shows and in national magazines, including Good Morning Australia, Hey Hey it's Saturday (Australia), Good Morning Oregon, Tonight with Gurmit(Singapore), Australian- Vogue, Singaporian- Cleo and Japanese- Seventeen. They were also the half time entertainment for the NBA playoffs 2000 series at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland Oregon. |
