IVy

It won't be long before everyone is talking about the imminent multi talented and multi-national girl group phenomenon about to sweep the nation. Combining the talent of four girls, each, though British, but from a different part of the world. IVy is brimming with raw sexy energy and urban vibes and is about to storm the nation.

The story so far....
IVy (pronounced as in the wild plant Ivy yet represents the number four IV as in Roman numericals) is the band name adopted by Nicci (Asian), Nadine (English), Lola (Russian/Nigerian) and Rochelle (West Indian/English). Not a manufactured band - they met (a year ago in London) via their ambitions and with their motto of not another girl band and of appreciation of truly multicultural world music, they formed IVy to reflect the various backgrounds each represent and have been singing/performing together ever since.

With individual ethnic looks and infused East/West music and themes - IVy are a refreshing differentiating factor in an industry where similarity can become an unwanted and over-saturated norm.

Talented
Incredibly sexy, don't be fooled, IVy are not your average group! They write and co-produce all their songs. IVy are ready to transcend any obvious lyrical and musical expectations. "We're mixing every style of music," says Rochelle. "Some of the songs we write are about us. We're singing about everything from having fun to having a secret - stuff that anyone - male, female, young or old, black or white can relate to. It's rnb/pop with that global edge."

Influences
Listing their influences as everything from Latin/Middle Eastern/Indian/African music and old school Soul, Jazz, Funk and influences like En Vogue, Destiny's Child, Michael Jackson, Lil Kim, Busta Rymes, Fugees, TLC and Madonna.

To date
Each member has had a passion for performing from a very tender age and some have attended singing and dancing schools. IVy has already appeared on TV and participated in gigs and festivals nationally.
