The magic ability to balance the body only with strength of the arms, never ceases to amaze. The new face of this magic is Moveton.
Celestially he balances three meters off the ground moving through seemingly impossible positions including elements of contortion.
He takes the art to a higher level with sheer strength, precision and control. The obvious risk keeps the audience on the edge of their seats and with his artistic display of decadence, he truly is a devil on one arm.
Created by Valentin Gneushev, one of Russia's most famous regisseurs, Moveton captivates us with his diabolical presentation.
Before moving into the specialized area of equilibristic art, the young Ukrainian was a juggler and acrobat in a children's circus school under the direction of Alexander Grusin.
Furthering his education in the Kiev State School of Performance and Circus Arts, Veligosha came under the supervision of Victor Tishler. After 4 years he graduated and moved to Moscow to join the world renowned Moscow Circus.
In 1997 Alexander Veligosha took a silver medal at the International Festival of Circus Arts in Paris.
So far this young member of the new Russian artistic elite has been admired in appearances with the Moscow Circus, the Tiger Palast ( Frankfurt), and the Friedrichsbau Variete (Stuttgart). Currently he can be seen at the Friedrichstadt Palast Berlin.
Definitely a career to be watched.
