Phil Wolff

Phil started making music at the age of 14. His first recordings were made in 1980 with a Band called "Hurricane". They were rereleased in 1993 as Bonustracks on the CD " Beggars Pride ". In 1986 he had a Band called " Phil & the Love", which was succesful in Cologne and a Single called " Let's pretend we're lovers " was released.

In the 90's he went to Munich to record a Version of "Save the last danceforme". After that he recorded a few songs together with Rosario Leon as "Phil & Lito". Then he moved on to Nashville / Tennessee.

Back home in Germany, Phil started his Solo-Thing with "Doitallnite" and "Everyday". He learned how to record Songs and work alone in a Studio. Since 1998 he has been working in his Studio in Llucmajor on the island of Mallorca/Spain. He also works in various Studios in Mallorca and sings for other people's records.

    Phil's Songs are inspired by the following Musicians:

  • James Brown
  • Willy DeVille
  • Tom Waits
  • Jerry Lee Lewis
  • Lenny Kravitz
  • and a lot of other great Soul, Funk and Rock Artists !
